Have you found the peace that is bigger than your understanding.

I mean the peace that holds you steady in the midst of no matter what, a peace that comes from deep within? In these days it is a vital necessity, for worry, fear, anger and confusion would like to take you to a place where there is no peace to be found.

The Bible says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:6 New Living Translation.

You might say, how is this going to happen?

Thanks for asking, it is going to happen through building a relationship with God, He is not a religion, but a person who knows all about us because we were with him before our mother birthed us on earth in our earth suit. (Eccl. 12;7)

Father God knows all about us for we were his before we were birthed here and he loves us so very much. That is why he agreed for Jesus to come to show us the way back to a love walk with Him by taking the judgment for our sins and sicknesses upon himself by dying for them on the cross of Calvary.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16 NKJV

All this takes place when we ask Jesus Christ to be the Lord of our life and to cleanse us from our sins, we become born again and a new creation in our inner man. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Cor 5:17 NKJV

“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Gal 2:20 New Living Translation

Wow, what a way to live from the perspective of Christ in me, hosting his presence; for in him, “We live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’” Acts 17:28 NKJV

There is nothing like living in a covenant relationship with God, where it is all in him. As the Bible says, “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Col 3:1-3 NKJV

Does that mean we are not to be involved in what is happening in the earth? Absolutely not, for now our equipping is by the word and the spirit of our Creator God to bring his standards of righteousness and truth as it is in heaven down here in Jesus’ name.

Some may say, “Well I am a pretty good person and I am doing the best I can.” That sounds like our relationship with God is based on our own performance not on being born again of God, but if we could make ourselves right and good for God, Jesus would not have had to come.

The Bible says we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and Jesus says to Nicodemus You must be born again from above by the spirit of God.

In his great love for us God gave us freedom to choose. Sometimes you might wonder about that; Lord why did you allow us to choose, after giving your all for us. But he did not want to be loved and worshiped by a bunch of robots who did not have a choice, so the choice is ours.

He wants to be loved by us freely and wholeheartedly and when we do we begin to find out our purpose and true identity in Christ Jesus. His Word will be life to us and Holy Spirit from within will guide and teach us and lead us in all truth.

Then when we celebrate all we are in him, he who loves us. more than we can begin to imagine, is with us every step of the way. His love drives out all fear as we rest in his sufficiency and the peace that passes our understanding.

Prov 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.” NKJV
